The Scarlet Tunic is what Adrian Thorpe describes as an analog amp emulator: a pedal built to capture the vintage amplifier tones of early Pink Floyd — the Selmer Treble N Bass 50 at its heart, with nods to the Hiwatt DR103 and Vox AC30. A high-quality transformer in the circuit reacts to your playing dynamics and distorts like a full-size amplifier.
Controls
- Treble and Bass EQ, mirroring the original amp's tone stack
- Presence control for the upper-mid response
- DEEP toggle: adjusts the bass character like a master bass control
- BRIGHT toggle: adjusts brightness like a master highs control
- SENS toggle: three gain levels, like the input-jack options on a vintage amp
