Source Audio Pathways brings tremolo and reverb together in one compact pedal designed to feel great the moment you plug in. From spring reverb twang and classic amp tremolo to wider, more spacious textures, Pathways delivers sounds players reach for again and again — organic, musical, and easy to dial in.
A CLASSIC COMBINATION
Musicians have been pairing reverb and tremolo for more than half a century. Since the early '60s, this timeless combination of motion and space has appeared in generations of iconic combo amps and shaped countless recordings and live performances. Pathways builds on this enduring tradition with an expanded palette of reverb and tremolo sounds that feel natural in a wide range of musical settings — from vintage tones and always-on essentials to vast, modern soundscapes.
7 REVERB & ECHO ENGINES
- Spring — the unmistakable sound of classic tube-amp reverb; bright and lively with the familiar splash and bounce that has defined rock guitar for decades.
- Tank — a deeper, more pronounced spring inspired by vintage outboard units; that unmistakable "drip", perfect for surf and spaghetti-western tones.
- Plate — a smooth, studio-quality reverb with a dense, even decay, based on vintage plate units like the EMT 140.
- Hall — a wide, expansive reverb based on classic digital studio racks; long, diffuse decay for ambient and cinematic textures.
- Room — natural reverberation inspired by real acoustic spaces and premier studio echo chambers.
- Slap — iconic 1950s tape slapback; extend the Reverb Time for a sustained, psychedelic echo.
- Echo — a short, BBD-style echo (up to 288ms) that behaves like a natural acoustic reflection.
3 TREMOLO ENGINES
- Optical — classic photocell tremolo from early-'60s combo amps; smooth, swampy modulation to pronounced rhythmic chop.
- Bias — power-tube bias modulation; smoother and rounder, with a subtle saturation that adds warmth.
- Harmonic — alternately modulates high and low frequencies for a rich, three-dimensional, phaser/Leslie-like swirl.
GREAT TONES, FAST
Everything you need is right on the face of the pedal, with dedicated controls for reverb time, tone and mix, alongside tremolo speed and depth. Separate Reverb and Tremolo footswitches engage each effect independently; the Tremolo footswitch also doubles as tap tempo, and the Beat Division switch selects quarter-note, eighth-note or triplet subdivisions.
