The Parallelizer 3 is Musicom Lab's most capable parallel mixer yet — three fully stereo effect loops running alongside a dedicated dry path, each with its own level knob. Reverbs, delays, modulation and pitch effects sit beside your dry signal instead of swallowing it, and every loop stays in stereo from send to return.
Where the original Parallelizer sent mono and returned stereo, the 3 is stereo end to end. Every blend you dial in can be stored: driven by MIDI Program Change it recalls 128 memory locations, and the positions of all four knobs are saved with each one. Four operating modes — Manual, MIDI PC, MIDI CC and MIDI PC+CC — cover everything from a set-and-forget pedalboard to a fully automated switching rig.
PARALLEL ROUTING
Three independent effect loops sit in parallel with the dry signal rather than in series, so nothing you patch in ever degrades the core of your tone. Each loop and the dry path arrive at a single mix stage where you set the balance by ear.
- 3 x Stereo SENDs and 3 x Stereo RETURNs
- Dedicated dry path, blended alongside the three loops
- Stereo throughout — no summing to mono at the send
LEVEL CONTROL
Four knobs, one for each effect loop and one for the dry signal. Set a wash of reverb under a bone-dry rhythm tone, park a delay just under the threshold of hearing, or run all three loops wide open for a wall of sound — the dry level never moves unless you move it.
- Adjust the effect level and dry level through each knob
- The level values set by the four knobs are stored across all 128 memories
OPERATING MODES AND MIDI
The Parallelizer 3 works as a standalone pedal or as a MIDI-controlled node inside a larger system. Choose the mode that matches your rig and leave it there.
- Operates in 4 modes: Manual, MIDI PC, MIDI CC, and MIDI PC+CC
- 128 memory locations when using MIDI PC
- Firmware updates are delivered over MIDI
BUILD AND POWER
An internal converter lifts the single 9 V DC input to a bipolar rail, giving the mix stage enough headroom to handle line-level and instrument-level signals without clipping. The footswitches are the heavy-duty type built for a working board.
- The 9 V power input is converted to +/-9 V internally, for any audio level
- Heavy-duty footswitches
- Powered by 9 V DC (centre negative), 185 mA
