The DSM & Humboldt Subatomic is an all-analog, dual-channel preamp engineered to deliver aggressive bass tones without sacrificing clarity or low-end definition. Cascading CMOS stages with parallel processing ensure natural low frequencies, making it perfect for distorted bass tones that remain full-bodied and articulate.

2 CHANNELS

• Clean Channel – Provides subtle compression and tube-like warmth from CMOS stages to enhance your natural tone
• Subatomic Drive Channel – Aggressive distortion with a clean blend for maximum punch and definition

Both channels share a 3-band passive EQ, giving you an expansive range of tones from smooth warmth to snarling aggression.

XLR & CABSIM

The Subatomic includes a balanced XLR DI output with optional analog cabinet simulation of a massive 8x10 “fridge” cab. Combined with an FX loop, this makes it a complete solution for recording or live use without needing an external DI or cab simulator.
