An award-winning musician, producer, and music director, Weiwen first stepped into the professional music world at age 16 when he was signed to an independent record label. He went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music with a double major in Contemporary Writing & Production and Songwriting, a foundation that would shape his chameleonic approach to guitar, arranging, and production.

As a session guitarist and live musician, Weiwen has performed for a wide spectrum of artists including LAYYI, Rangga Jones, RRILEY, Joi Chua 蔡淳佳, Dru Chen, MengFM 夢飛船, and Marcus Lee 李俊緯. His versatility has also landed him in the orchestra pit for major musical theatre productions (Wicked, Hamilton, &Juliet, and Dear Evan Hansen) showcasing his ability to navigate complex, high-pressure performance environments.

Beyond performing, Weiwen has stepped into music direction for LAYYI, Rangga Jones, and Josh Makazo, shaping the musical vision of live performances. In the studio, he has produced for a growing roster of artists including RENE, Rangga Jones, Soph T. 霏霏, lewloh, and Marcus Lee 李俊緯.

Earlier independent releases of his own work, including his debut EP “in metanoia”, have seen placements on Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists, as well as a feature on Singapore Airlines' in-flight entertainment system. At his core, Weiwen is a musician's musician: a guitarist, arranger, and music producer who moves seamlessly between genres, stages, and roles.
