NFB can affect the gain, as well as a bit of frequency response. It will be good to make it a bit more wilder sounding, as opposed to a cleanish, darker amp, as is.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGain Mod\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e - As for the gain mod, the JM original ckt dumps quite some signal early in the preamp.
